sony ericsson k series

i am currently using the sony ericsson's k750i mobile. i have also used k700i & k790i mobiles which are younger & elder brothers to 750i. if you ask my opinion all three are very cute & value for money mobiles.

k 700i

i bought the k700i mobile during june05. hope it wud hav been lauched a few months ago. buying this mobile was a very happening & jubiliant moment in my life. i lovedits shape and the audio quality. it made me brisk when i hear my favourite song tune as the ringtone.i enjoyed every moment of it. the features in this mobile was top class. i was the first to use a mobile with bluetooth feature in my work place.it made many of my colleagues to upgrade their phones. really it was the first step between regular colour mobile and a multimedia mobile. it stormed the market with itsfeatures. the vga camera was excellent. the photos taken with this mobile during a trip to ooty near coimbatore in tamilnadu created an aura in my friends circle. the photos came out absolutely perfect and everyone cherished the moments when these photos were shared in the web. i did not have any idea of switching over to a new model. but alas one fine raining day my k700i lost its life after taking a shower with me in the monsoon rains. i was really frustrated about what has happened. i mourned its death by not using mobile for a month or so.(even though a mobile is a must for my profession )

then i reluctantly switched over to k750i after lot of predicaments of choosing the brand.

k750i

i was really slow & reluctant in using the new mobile. the enthusiasm in me when i used k700i was not present in me. but slowly k750i brought back the liveliness. i wondered when i read an article on peoples reaction when they did not use their mobile for a week. it was funny to me when it stated that some developed loss of apetite , some lost temper for petty things etc..but i feel i also experienced similar mental stature during the one month of my k700i death.

k750i proved that it is as cool as its look. it had a very subtle construction. at the outset many felt it as a candy shaped colour phone. but when the features were experienced, it is a little genius. i will definitely appreciate the sonys design team worked on this phone. the reason is that a whole lot of kaizens were incorporated in this mobile. the music buttons in the side used for controlling volume is also used to shift fm channels & mp3 songs too. the music short cut for switching on/off music is real dam good feature as otherwise you have to unlock the phone & go to the music menu to do the same. such kaizens attracted me further to this little master. the mobile s sound o/p is engineered well and the clarity of sound & display stands apart from its peers.

the real highlight feature of this phone is its 2MPx camera. the silent killer. the shots taken by k700i were superb but by 750i were extra-ordinary. the quality is impeccable. the album of my niece was a pleasant surprise gift for her on her birthday.it had photos of her & her alone captured in k750i for a period of around 2 months. definitely this phone has become a part of me now.

k790i

then came the k790i the 'big B' phone with a 3.2Mpx camera. i some how fell in love with this phone at my first usage in one of my favorite mobile show room. but as i cud not break my love with k750i i made one of my good friend to love her. yes i made him to buy the phone. the tag was little high as it was recently lauched then,but after that my friend had all praise for this phone. the phone is very handy & sexy to use.the glamour to this mobile was further incremented as it made its debut in casino royale 007. to my surprise many kaizens were built into this phone too. like the bluetooth A2Dp faciltiy to hear songs in blue tooth headsets, flight mode, the extra keys in the top in the front panel to scroll pictures are well thought about & perfectly engineered into the mobile. i eye this phone & who knows may enter into my life soon....
